Introduction from page 20 of Seek God For The City from WayMakers:
He (Christ) is thwarting evil, liberating people and establishing outposts of heaven’s life on earth. As people answer God’s call to live as Christ’s servants, they are changed, and they become God’s agents to transform their communities.
Jesus said that the gospel of the kingdom would be proclaimed “in the whole world as a testimony to all the peoples, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14) What wonderful hope: Every place. Every people. We can pray with confidence for the gospel to come to every geographical area and every cultural arena. Evangelization is the beginning point of all God will do to bring transformation.
