Seeking His Glory in Evangelizing All Peoples

Seek God…for every people group to hear the gospel.

“Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you.” So he went away proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. Luke 8:39

 As a child I would sit and listen to my grandfather’s stories of his childhood and of his father who was a horse trader at the turn of the century.  I loved those stories and my grandfather. When I became a Christian my love of stories continued.  I loved to hear those Believers, who were older in the faith, recount their stories. I remember the lady who prayed and her broken toilet was fixed, the man who drove many miles on a tank of gas that was long past being depleted, the couple who told of God’s faithfulness to supply hair spray and healing.  These stories give me hope and encouragement.   Just as my grandfather spent many hours with me telling me his stories, these wonderful men and women of God shared their precious lives with me telling me their stories.  I love them like family.

“Lord, I pray that You would revive the art of storytelling so that each of Your children both young and old would continually tell of the great things that You have done for them.  Help us to be bold in our storytelling so that we are ready with our story in any circumstance where we find ourselves.  Help us to tell our story so everyone who hears may understand; give us the right words for each unique listener.”

“Lord, help us to give liberally of our time so that we when we tell our stories others may find hope in You.”

“Lord, help us to use our talents to tell our story by text, by Facebook, by video, by song, at the coffeeshop or at the dinner table. Let us be a people who passionately share Your gift of salvation thru our stories and lives.”
