Seeking His Righteousness In Our Communities
Seek God…to bring blessing through righteousness.
“For I have chosen him, so that he may command his children …after him to keep the way of the Lord…” These words from the scripture in Genesis 18 stopped me. First I thought of them as directly speaking to me of my responsibility toward the children God has entrusted to my direction in this lifetime. Abraham was chosen so that he may command his children… to keep the way of the Lord. Is that why I am chosen? Wow. That was my first thought but then those thoughts expanded to the people I interact with. Was I chosen so that I can influence them? Does anyone else ever think “Why did God choose me?” When I read those words in Genesis 18 it seemed my question was answered.
